After 18 years of serving our community, we have made the difficult decision to close Genesys Family Medicine due to the ongoing challenges of a worsening administrative burden and rising overhead costs. Genesys Family Medicine officially closed on July 31, 2026. 

Dr. Chris Ingraham will be working with Ascension Saint Thomas Premier Medicine opening soon in Murfreesboro this fall.  This clinic will be part of the MDVIP-affiliated care model and will work to provide same-day or next-day appointments, more time with your doctor, and a proactive approach to wellness. Dr. Heidi Lakes will be working for Circle Medical, which is an online primary care solution where care is provided only via telehealth. This service is offered as cash paying option but does also accept certain insurances. If you are interested in continuing your medical care with Dr. Lakes, then this is an option to consider. Bethany McGuire, FNP-BC will practice medicine near Chattanooga where she’s moving later this year to be closer to family.  It’s been a pleasure to work with her and we’ll miss her expertise.

Our Cigna-HealthSpring patients have been assigned automatically to Dr. Brandon Hardin who will be your primary care physician as of August 1st, 2026. We encourage you to call his office after August 1st to schedule a “meet your new doctor” appointment: 1-629-296-3153
